Norton Atlas Apex: What does it get over the standard Atlas?

Norton Motorcycles recently released the specifications of the highly-awaited Atlas adventure motorcycle. The bike is available in standard and Apex variants and, as the name suggests, the latter is the top-spec version. Here’s what differentiates it from the standard bike.

While both motorcycles share the same core package—including an 8-inch TFT touchscreen, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, IMU-based rider aids, cruise control, a quickshifter, a fully-adjustable KYB suspension, and five riding modes—the Apex gets several exclusive upgrades.

For improved touring comfort, the Atlas Apex comes with heated grips, an easy-adjust windscreen, a rear luggage rack with pillion handles, and additional pillion support.

The Apex further enhances visibility with LED cornering lights and LED puddle lamps, while convenience is improved through the addition of a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

On the safety front, Norton has equipped the Apex with Vehicle Hold Control (hill-hold assist) and Electronic Combined Braking, features that are not available on the standard Atlas.

Visually, the Apex also stands apart with its upgraded integrated aluminum bash plate and an exclusive Glacier Blue paint scheme.
