KTM Prices Expected to Increase from 1 June in India

  • The range of hike will be around Rs. 4,000-6,000
  • New 350cc models will also become slightly more expensive
  • CBU model prices could remain unchanged

KTM India is expected to increase the prices of a majority of its motorcycles in India, as per our dealer sources. The new prices will be applicable from 1 June and will affect models from the entry-level 160 Duke to the 390 Adventure S. Prices of the bigger CBU bikes will likely remain unchanged.

While KTM is yet to officially confirm this development, our dealer sources have stated that the range of hike will be around Rs. 4,000-6,000, and will vary depending on the model. Although we haven’t received clarity on the reason for this hike, it could be due to an increment in raw material and manufacturing costs. The newly launched 350cc versions of the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure will also be a part of this price revision regime. Besides KTM, new 350cc Triumph motorcycles will witness a bump in their prices, as we had reported recently.

KTM Right Side View

Since the quantum of price hike doesn’t seem to be significant, especially for the bigger 250 and 390 range, it is unlikely to influence the buying decision of potential KTM customers. The entry-level KTM 160 Duke currently starts from Rs. 1.74 lakh (LCD variant) while the top-end S version of the 390 Adventure costs Rs. 3.97 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). We will post an update as soon as the prices of KTM offerings witness a revision in India. Stay tuned to this space.
