The Vision T is expected to be the next evolution of the Thar.e concept, which first broke cover back in 2023. While the Thar.e turned heads with its rugged styling and promise of electrification, the Vision T appears ready to push that vision further. The teaser hints at a bold, boxy silhouette, chunky bumpers, and muscular bonnet lines, all hallmarks of the Thar DNA. Interestingly, the new concept shows some tweaks in its wheel arches and bumpers, pointing towards a fresh design direction while keeping its off-road character intact.

Mahindra is likely aiming for a five-door configuration this time around, making the Vision T more practical for families who want an electric SUV without sacrificing the Thar’s iconic tough look. Big, off-road-ready tyres and chunky proportions suggest that Mahindra doesn’t plan to tame the Thar’s adventurous spirit just yet.

The Vision T will likely share the stage with at least four more electric concepts as Mahindra sets out its roadmap for greener mobility. A new platform, codenamed Freedom_NU, will also be revealed at the event. This platform is expected to support a mix of electric and conventional powertrains.
