Maruti Suzuki clocks record production of 23.4 lakh units in FY26

Maruti Suzuki’s June sales soar over 19% to 2 lakh units on strong PV demand

on Wednesday reported a 19.3% year-on-year increase in total sales to 2,00,390 units in June, driven by robust domestic demand and higher exports.

Total domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales rose 23.8% to 1,47,187 units from 1,18,906 units in the year-ago month, while overall domestic sales, including light commercial vehicles (LCVs), increased to 1,50,150 units from 1,21,339 units.


Exports also remained strong, rising 13% to 42,768 units from 37,842 units a year earlier. Sales to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), however, declined to 7,472 units from 8,812 units.

The company’s total domestic sales, including PVs, LCVs and OEM supplies, stood at 1,57,622 units in June, compared with 1,30,151 units in the same month last year.

Among passenger vehicles, sales of mini cars, comprising the Alto and S-Presso, surged to 11,416 units from 6,414 units a year ago. Sales of compact and mid-size models, including the Baleno, Swift, Dzire and WagonR, rose to 63,815 units from 55,205 units.

Utility vehicle sales, comprising the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, e Vitara, Victoris and XL6, climbed to 61,726 units from 47,947 units, while Eeco van sales increased to 10,230 units from 9,340 units.

Sales of the Super Carry light commercial vehicle rose to 2,963 units in June from 2,433 units a year earlier.
