The Union Sports Minister of India, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, has been invited as the Guest of Honour to MotoGP Bharat. The BharatGP is set to be held from the 22nd to the 24th of September, 2023.
The MotoGP Bharat team presented him with this prestigious invite at his house while giving him a KYT helmet as a gift. Following that, the organizers went on a ride with Anurag Thakur when he said how this is the biggest event to have happened in India and will help grow the automobile sector in the country.

Anurag Thakur went on a ride with the organizers of MotoGP Bharat, FairStreet Sports, who were with a bunch of other riders as well. Thakur, after wearing his new KYT helmet, got onto a sports bike and rode it in pouring rain.
Anurag Thakur, talking about MotoGP Bharat, said, “MotoGP is going to be held in India for the first time. This big event will be held in Gautam Budh Nagar, India. First time an Indian racer will participate in a MotoGP race. Now there will be a boost for racing bikes.”
“Our automobile industry will also get a lot of boost. This is going to be a big initiative…I have full faith that this is just the beginning, India will achieve new heights in racing…”, Thakur went on to say.
MotoGP Bharat will be the first time MotoGP comes to India and will be held in September of this year. The race will take place at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Tickets for the race can be availed on BookMyShow or at the Buddh International Circuit Box Office.
