MV Agusta Brutale 800 Gets New Nero Carbonio Livery

  • Deeper metallic finish
  • 112bhp and 85Nm

MV Agusta has released a new metallic Nero Carbonio livery for its middleweight naked Brutale 800 which gives it a darker and more premium identity. This new finish is a combination of Nero Carbonio metallic paint with contrasting Rosso Ago accents on the frame and rims. This darker appeal definitely suits the Brutale well.

The design philosophy continues with the LED drop-shaped headlight, single-sided swingarm and that distinctive triple-exit exhaust. Brutale 800 also retains the steel trellis frame and the look-through underseat layout. Hardware remains same though. A fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi upside-down fork paired with a Sachs monoshock with progressive linkage at the rear. Brembo radial-mount M4.32 four-piston calipers working with twin 320mm floating front discs for brakes.

The glorious sounding 800cc three-cylinder engine pushes out 112bhp and 85Nm of peak torque. The engine has a counter-rotating shaft to help improve handling and stability. Thank goodness MV never took the twin-cylinder route.

Only for the Euro market, the bike is built at the company’s factory in Varese, Italy. MV Agusta also backs it with full electronics suite, and five-year factory warranty. Sadly, no news yet for MV resurgence for the Indian market.
