MV Agusta Unveils Rs 82.41 Lakh Superveloce 1000 Ago To Celebrate Agostini’s Legacy

MV Agusta has pulled the wraps off a stunning new limited-edition motorcycle: the Superveloce 1000 Ago, crafted as a tribute to legendary racer Giacomo Agostini. The unveiling coincides with the 83rd birthday of the 15-time world champion and the brand’s own 80th anniversary, making the launch a double celebration of motorsport heritage.

Just 83 units of this motorcycle will be built, with each bike bearing Agostini’s signature on a gold-plated number plaque. Adding a unique touch, MV Agusta has embedded a tiny piece of one of Agostini’s original race trophies into the ignition key, offering buyers a piece of history quite literally in hand.

Powering the Superveloce 1000 Ago is the brand’s proven 998cc inline-four engine that pumps out 208 hp and 116.5 Nm of torque. This performance is supported by a steel trellis frame paired with aluminium side plates and a single-sided swingarm. Advanced rider aids such as traction control, launch control, and multiple ride modes round out the package.

Visually, the bike wears a bold Fire Red and Magnum Silver paint scheme with yellow highlights and a classic number 1 badge, mirroring Agostini’s iconic racing machines. Buyers will also receive a special kit that includes a certificate of authenticity, a bike cover, and a premium Alcantara and leather passenger seat.
