New Bajaj Pulsar Spotted Testing

New Bajaj Pulsar Spotted Testing

  • Likely to be the updated Pulsar N125
  • Gets a new design and exhaust
  • Ergonomics might also be different

Bajaj was recently spotted testing a new motorcycle, which is claimed to be the updated version of the Pulsar N125. The test mule was completely camouflaged and revealed very little about the nature of updates it will get.

If the motorcycle is indeed the new Pulsar N125, what’s clear is that it has undergone a significant visual makeover. It looks much bigger and more muscular from all angles as compared to the existing N125, which is a rather slender and athletic-looking thing. The test mule incorporated a more bulbous front fascia with a seemingly bigger cowl surrounding the headlamp. Even the fuel tank section looks more muscular, while the tail section appears to be stubbier than the bike currently on sale.

The side profile of the test bike also reveals that the motorcycle was running a different exhaust, and that could translate to a different, perhaps bassier sound. Bajaj could also look at tweaking the seating ergonomics and make it a more involving and comfortable bike than the existing iteration, on which you feel like you’re sitting strangely high on the bike. Bajaj might also introduce more features along with an updated digital instrument cluster. With the recent push by the government to use fuel with a higher Ethanol blend, Bajaj might also be working on a flex fuel version of the bike.

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is currently available in a single variant, which costs Rs. 92,270, ex-showroom. The updated model will certainly be slightly more expensive.
