Norton Atlas Spied Testing in India Yet Again

  • Expected to be launched in the second half of 2026
  • Will be offered in two variants
  • Powered by a 585cc, parallel-twin motor

The upcoming Norton Atlas has been spied testing in India yet again ahead of its launch in the country. Interestingly, the Atlas made its official debut at EICMA 2025, but the India launch has been delayed.

While the Norton Atlas has been spotted testing earlier as well, the latest sighting gives us a clear peek into the India-spec model. Surprisingly, the seat appears misaligned, as if it’s not fitted properly, or a part of the tail section is missing. The prototype also appears to be a touring variant, running on 19/17-inch alloy wheels.

The Atlas will be manufactured locally by TVS Motor Company at its Hosur facility. Powering it will be a 585cc, parallel-twin engine that is likely to produce around 70bhp. It will rival the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750.

Norton is expected to offer the Atlas in two variants – Standard and GT, and will be available in five colours. The GT trim will be the touring version with 17-inch wheels at both ends, while the standard model will be the more rough-road-friendly variant with 19/17-inch wheels.

Given that the bike is still under testing, we can expect TVS to launch the Norton Atlas in India in the second half of 2026. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
