Oben Rorr EVO Launched in India at Rs. 1.25 lakh

• First 10,000 customers can get it for Rs. 1 lakh
• Powered by a 9kW electric motor
• Gets a 3.4kWh battery pack with 180km IDC range

Oben Electric has launched the Rorr EVO electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the bike is priced at Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers.

The Oben Rorr EVO is positioned as a practical electric motorcycle for everyday use. It features a projector headlamp with a signature front light, along with muscular bodywork for a distinct visual identity.

Powering the motorcycle is a 9kW electric motor paired with a single-stage chain drive. It can accelerate from 0-40kmph in three seconds and has a claimed top speed of 110kmph. The bike gets a 3.5kWh LFP battery pack that offers an IDC range of 180km on a single charge. It supports fast charging and can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 90 minutes using the company’s fast charger.

On the feature front, the Rorr EVO gets a five-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation, ride data, and call and message alerts. It also includes safety features such as fall detection with emergency alerts, unified brake assist, driver alert system, and geo-fencing.

Bookings for the Oben Rorr EVO are open at Rs. 777, while deliveries are scheduled to commence from June 2026. The motorcycle is available in four colour options: Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White.

The Rorr EVO also comes with SmartIQ, an AI-based ride mode that analyses riding patterns and adjusts power delivery accordingly. Oben claims this system can improve range by up to 15 per cent, depending on riding conditions.
