Oben Rorr Evo Receives 25,000 Bookings

Oben Electric has announced that the new Oben Rorr Evo electric motorcycle has received over 25,000 bookings within 15 days of launch. The company has also opened the payment portal on its website for customers to avail the introductory price of Rs. 99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 buyers. Thereafter, the motorcycle will cost Rs. 1,24,999 (ex-showroom). Deliveries are scheduled to begin from June 2026.

The Oben Rorr Evo is powered by a 9kW IPMSM motor that produces 250Nm of wheel torque. It uses a 3.4kWh LFP battery pack that is claimed to deliver an IDC range of 180km. The motorcycle can accelerate from 0-40kmph in three seconds and has a claimed top speed of 110kmph. Oben says the battery can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 90 minutes using fast charging. Feature highlights include a five-inch TFT display, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation, fall detection, emergency SOS, 10 litres of storage space, and an eight-year battery warranty.

Oben Electric says it is ready to meet the seemingly high demand through the presence of over 150 showrooms and dedicated service centres across more than 100 cities in India. The company intends to further strengthen its retail presence by inaugurating 200 additional showrooms by the end of FY27.
