Royal Enfield concludes the 2026 Himalayan Odyssey

Royal Enfield has concluded the 22nd edition of the Himalayan Odyssey, marking the largest edition of the iconic ride since it began nearly three decades ago.

What also makes this year’s Himalayan Odyssey special is that Royal Enfield is also celebrating its 125th anniversary year. Keeping that in mind, the company decided to do things differently.

For the first time, the 2026 Himalayan Odyssey was split into three separate expeditions – Original, Xplore, and Nubra. Together, the routes covered over 4,200km across the Himalayas, taking participants through some of the world’s highest motorable roads. Speaking of participants, this year’s expedition brought together riders from eight countries.

We were part of the 2026 Himalayan Odyssey as well and to make things interesting, we chose the hardcore, Xplor expedition. You can read about our Himalayan adventure here.

Royal Enfield says the Himalayan Odyssey continues to attract riders looking to experience the challenges of high-altitude riding, scenic landscapes, and the camaraderie that has become synonymous with the expedition. All said, motorcycles remain the most immersive way to experience the beauty of Ladakh. We hope every motorcyclist manages to experience it, at least for once in their lifetime.
