Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 India Launch Early Next Year

Last year, revealed that it will sell electric motorcycles under a new sub-brand called the . At EICAM 2024, the Chennai-based two-wheeler maker showcased the C6, the first electric motorcycle to be introduced under the Flying Flea brand. According to an ET Auto report, the C6 will be launched in India between January and March 2026. Details related to the vehicle are still under wraps, but the Royal Enfield first motorcycle is currently under development.

Along the C6, Royal Enfield will introduce the S6, an electric scrambler. Royal Enfield is currently deliberating whether to sell Flying Flea models through its existing retail chains or introduce an all-new platform for them. What is confirmed is that the new all-electric brand will remain a sub-brand of Royal Enfield, as there are no plans to establish a separate business subsidiary.

Details on the specifications of the upcoming C6 and S6 remain scarce. However, based on the design of the prototype unveiled at EICMA and what Royal Enfield says, it is apparent that the models take design inspiration from the brand’s older models. The name ‘Flying Flea’ comes from a motorcycle with the same name, which Royal Enfield used to sell during the 1940s and the WWII era.
