Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey 2026 announced; Registrations now open

Royal Enfield has announced the 22nd edition of the Himalayan Odyssey, which will also mark the company’s 125th anniversary celebrations. Registrations for the 2026 ride are now open, and this year’s edition will be the biggest and most diverse one yet, with four different routes planned across Ladakh and the Himalayas.

The 2026 Himalayan Odyssey is divided into four circuits- Original Odyssey, Explore Circuit, Kargil Circuit, and Nubra Circuit. Each route has been designed for a different kind of rider, ranging from experienced long-distance tourers to those looking for a shorter but a far more immersive experience of the Himalayas.

The Himalayan Odyssey Original will run from 25 June to 10 July, covering a 16-day expedition starting and ending in Chandigarh. Riders will travel through Himachal Pradesh, Zanskar, and Ladakh while tackling some of the highest motorable roads in the world.

Meanwhile, the Himalayan Odyssey Explore, scheduled between 26 June and 5 July, is aimed at riders looking for a more rugged and self-reliant experience with limited support and self-carried luggage. This will be for the hardcore riders and would be ideal for those who’ve some amount of experience when it comes to riding long distances with huge amounts of luggage strapped to their bikes.

Royal Enfield has also introduced the Kargil Circuit and Nubra Circuit for riders who prefer a slower-paced journey focused on culture, history, and local experiences. These rides will begin from Leh and take place between 29 June and 5 July.

The Himalayan Odyssey first began in 1997 and has since become a bucket-list adventure ride for Royal Enfield enthusiasts across the world. That said, it is also a grueling experience considering the high altitude, relative lack of oxygen, and weather conditions that can change sooner than you’d expect. Nevertheless, exploring Ladakh on a motorcycle will always be an experience of a lifetime.
