Simple Ultra Electric Scooter Launched at Rs. 2.35 Lakh

Simple Energy has announced the price of its new electric scooter, the Simple Ultra, and it costs Rs 2,34,999, ex-showroom. The scooter was unveiled earlier this year as part of the brand’s Gen 2 lineup, and deliveries have already begun, with bookings open.

Simple Energy Ultra Right Front Three Quarter

The Simple Ultra is designed for long-distance commuting and is powered by a 6.5kWh battery pack. It has a claimed IDC range of 400km, making it one of the longest-range electric scooters in the country. Performance-wise, the scooter can reach a top speed of 115kmph and accelerate from 0-40kmph in 2.77 seconds. Simple Energy claims it is the second fastest electric scooter in its lineup, after the Simple One. In terms of features, the Simple Ultra is equipped with four levels of traction control and a seven-inch touchscreen display that manages ride data and other functions.

The Simple Ultra is available for purchase through the company’s official website as well as its retail outlets, with test rides currently underway in select cities.

Simple Energy currently has close to 70 touchpoints across India, including cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Aurangabad, and Chennai. The company plans to further expand its footprint to additional cities such as Nagpur, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar in the near future.
