Tata Harrier.ev Launched In India: Prices, Range, Features & More

Tata Motors has officially launched the all-electric Harrier.ev in India, marking a major step forward for the homegrown brand in the EV space. Prices start at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the new flagship electric SUV in Tata’s growing portfolio. The fantastic thing to note here is the Harrier.ev comes with a lifetime warranty, irrespective of how many kilometres you drive it.

Tata Harrier.ev Offers 504 Nm Of Peak Torque

Built on Tata’s Gen 2 EV architecture, the Harrier.ev comes equipped with a dual-motor setup, offering all-wheel drive with a rear-wheel drive bias. Performance is brisk — it delivers 504 Nm of torque and can do 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. The SUV also offers impressive off-road credentials with six terrain modes: Normal, Sand, Mud & Ruts, Snow/Grass, Rock Crawl, and Custom. It can handle inclines up to 50%.

Tata Harrier.ev Has Two Battery Pack Options

Powering the Harrier.ev are two battery options: 65 kWh and 75 kWh. The larger pack delivers an ARAI-certified range of 627 km, with a real-world range expected to fall between 480-505 km. Tata says the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 25 minutes using a 120 kW DC fast charger. A 7.2 kW AC home charger is also available, and the EV supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability up to 3.3 kW. It can add 240 km of range in just 15 minutes of fast charging.

Tata Harrier.ev Comes With A 14.53-Inch Central Touchscreen

Inside, the Harrier.ev sports a premium dual-tone cabin featuring powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control with voice activation. Rear seat passengers get the “Boss Mode,” which allows them to recline the front passenger seat with the press of a button. Tech highlights include a 14.53-inch Neo-QLED touchscreen powered by Samsung, with Dolby Atmos 5.1 surround sound. A fully digital instrument cluster, Alexa voice assistant, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are all part of the package. There’s also a phone-based digital key, a smart card option, and an e-IRVM (digital inside rearview mirror) that doubles as a dashcam.

Tata Harrier.ev Comes With 540-Degree Surround View Camera

For convenience and safety, the Harrier.ev comes with features like automatic parking with summon mode, a 540-degree camera setup (covering front, rear, and underbody views), and Level 2 ADAS. The system includes low-speed AEB and has been calibrated specifically for Indian driving conditions. Over-the-air updates are also supported. Practicality hasn’t been compromised either, the SUV offers 502 litres of boot space, expandable up to 1,000 litres with the rear seats folded. The Tata Harrier.ev is available in three variants: Adventure, Fearless, and Empowered, and comes in four colour options. Tata is also offering a Stealth Edition right from launch.
