Tesla Model Y L Launched in India: Check Price, specifications, features and colour options

The new variant, Tesla Model Y L, features a longer wheelbase and is priced at ₹61,99,000 (ex-showroom), according to Tesla’s India website, ET Auto reported. Tesla entered India in July last year with the imported Model Y, but its steep pricing has limited its reach to a niche segment.

The model is strategically placed between Tesla’s premium variant and its more budget-friendly option.

The Tesla Model Y L measures 4,969 mm in length, 1,982 mm in width, and 1,668 mm in height. It also supports rapid charging through Tesla Supercharger, offering a peak capacity of 250 kW under ideal conditions.

Each seat is thoughtfully designed to enhance headroom, legroom, and overall comfort, ensuring passengers feel relaxed upon arrival. The second-row captain seats come with powered armrests, one-touch folding, as well as ventilation and heating. The third row offers power recline, one-touch folding, and ventilated climate control.

On the technology front, the Tesla Model Y L is equipped with eight exterior cameras, second-generation onboard hardware, and a range of connected features. Its safety suite includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision alerts, blind-spot monitoring, and lane departure prevention. The SUV also features heated seats, a heated steering wheel, an advanced air filtration system, and customizable driver profiles. The Model Y L is offered in six exterior shades, Stealth Grey, Pearl White, Diamond Black, Glacier Blue, Ultra Red, and Cosmic Silver with most colour options priced at an additional cost, TOI reported.
