Toyota launches Urban Cruiser Ebella E3: Check price, features, variants, range and more

Toyota has launched the Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 in India, with the ex-showroom price set at Rs 23,60,000, according to the company’s official press release. The launch highlights the company’s multi-pathway strategy aimed at achieving a sustainable and carbon-neutral future.

The electric SUV is positioned as part of Toyota’s push in electrified mobility, supported by its global experience spanning three decades in the segment.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella E3: Specifications and variant details

The Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 is offered in the Grade E3 variant with a 61 kWh battery pack. It delivers 128 kW of power and 189 Nm of torque, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 23,60,000.

Urban Cruiser EV: Exterior design and styling

The model features an “URBAN TECH” design theme that combines SUV styling with modern aesthetics and spacious versatility. It carries Toyota’s hammerhead front design, along with an aerodynamic profile, dual-tone exterior finish, and premium LED lighting. The SUV is also equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, adding to its bold road presence.

Charging and connectivity features

The electric SUV supports both AC charging and DC fast charging, making it suitable for both city use and long-distance travel. It also includes smart charging functions such as remote charging control, scheduling, and battery monitoring through the i-Connect platform.

The vehicle features a cabin with a dual-tone interior layout and refined finishes. Key features include ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 colour options, sliding and reclining rear seats, a panoramic roof, and a JBL premium audio system.

The SUV comes with a unified digital cockpit featuring a 10.25-inch combimeter and a 10.1-inch multimedia display. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

Safety and driver assistance systems

The Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Safety features include seven airbags, a high-tensile strength body structure, and a 360-degree camera for enhanced driver awareness.

Toyota is offering an 8-year battery warranty along with an assured buyback option and Battery-as-a-Service plans. The company is also providing multiple financial schemes as part of the ownership package.

Service and maintenance support

The company stated that its 500-plus BEV-enabled service touchpoints are equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and infrastructure. More than 2,500 trained BEV master technicians are available across its network, offering maintenance support and 45-minute express service at all outlets.
