Triumph introduced an Rs 18,000 year-end discount on the Speed T4 last year. The discount effectively reduced the 400cc bike’s ex-showroom price to Rs 1.99 from Rs 2.17 lakh. Now, the brand has made the price reduction permanent. Two months into the new year, the Speed T4 continues to retail at its discounted rate, with the brand’s official website now mentioning its ex-showroom price at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Speed T4 is the India-specific version of the Speed 400. It comes with the same 398.15 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. However, at 30.6 hp and 35 Nm, the engine’s performance is slightly less compared to the Speed 400, which makes 39.5 hp and 37.5 Nm of peak torque.

The Speed T4 is the most affordable motorcycle in Triumph’s lineup. It features 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and a gas monoshock at the rear. There is a 300 mm single disc brake at the front with a 230 mm disc brake at the rear. In terms of features, the Speed T4 is equipped with an analogue speedometer with an integrated LCD screen. This Triumph has a seat height of 806 mm and weighs 180 kg.
