Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine and Desert Editions Launched from Rs. 15.35 Lakh

• Tiger 900 Alpine Edition is priced from Rs. 15.35 lakh
• Tiger 900 Desert Edition is priced from Rs. 16.05 lakh
• 900cc T-Plane triple engine with 105bhp

Triumph Motorcycles India has just released the new Tiger 900 Alpine Edition and Tiger 900 Desert Edition. Pricing starts at Rs. 15.35 lakh for the Alpine Edition and Rs. 16.05 lakh for the Desert Edition (all mentioned prices ex-showroom India). Sitting within Triumph’s middleweight adventure range, these editions are for riders who want a more focused version of the Tiger 900 without moving all the way up to the larger Tiger 1200 family. The Alpine Edition is more a road-biased long-distance adventure motorcycle.

Tiger 900 Alpine Edition with its road-bias comes in Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black paint scheme with Aegean Blue detailing giving it a more premium look. This edition will offer all-day touring comfort and more performance-bias across tarmac use. Hardware highlights include an Akrapovic silencer and Marzocchi suspension.

Tiger 900 Desert Edition looks more rugged in its Urban Grey and Sapphire Black colour scheme with Baja Orange accents. This is one definitely radiating some serious off-road character. The Desert Edition comes with an Akrapovic silencer, Showa long-travel suspension and protection bars.

Both motorcycles are powered by Triumph’s 900cc T-Plane triple engine pushing out 105bhp of maximum power. T-Plane firing order is meant to give the engine a more tractable and characterful feel, especially at low and mid-range speeds.
