At the heart of the bike is the same reliable 197.5cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, producing 20.5 hp and 17.25 Nm of torque. This powerplant is now compliant with the stricter OBD-2B emission norms. It continues to be paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features a slipper clutch for smoother downshifts.

Among the biggest changes is the addition of a new gold-finished 37mm upside-down fork, which should noticeably improve the ride and handling. TVS has also fitted a hydroformed handlebar, designed to boost stability and give riders better control.

Cosmetically, the Apache RTR 200 4V sees subtle yet striking updates. It’s available in three paint schemes: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey, all of which now feature eye-catching red alloy wheels and sharper graphics for a sportier look.
