Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover Gets New Base Variant

Ultraviolette has listed a new variant of the X-47 Crossover on its website. The new variant is priced at Rs. 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it Rs. 15,000 cheaper than the Original variant, priced at Rs. 2.64 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant is simply dubbed ‘X-47’ and misses out on the Ultraviolette Hypersense radar system.

The Hypersense radar system offers features including rear collision warnings, lane change assist, overtake alert, and blind-spot detection. This new variant is likely aimed at budget-conscious riders and others looking for a less feature-loaded package for an old-school riding experience.

The new variant is mechanically unchanged compared to the others and is powered by the same 27kW electric motor, with a claimed top speed of 145kmph. The motorcycle has a claimed acceleration time from 0-60kmph in 2.8 seconds. It is offered with a 7.1kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 211km.
