Viaterra Downtown Saddlebags Review: To Buy or Not to Buy

It took a while, but a couple of months back we finally got hold of Viaterra’s Downtown saddlebags for our long-term Triumph Scrambler 400X. They took their sweet time getting here because Viaterra hadn’t designed suitable saddle stays for the Scrambler. It had one for the Speed, which wasn’t an ideal fit. But now, it has designed one not just for the Scrambler, but also for the Himalayan 450, Guerrilla 450, and the KTM Adventure.

We wanted these bags because we thought they looked cool. The colour combo, simplicity, and our experience with other products from the Downtown series—namely, the tank bag and the handbag—indicated these would be quality items as well.
