Vida VX2 Electric Scooter Launched In India: Prices, Range, And Key Details

Vida has launched the VX2 electric scooter in India, marking its most affordable offering. Ex-showroom prices start at Rs 99,490 for the Go variant and go up to Rs 1.10 lakh for the Plus variant. You can also choose the VX2 with a Battery as a Subscription (BaaS) plan, which reduces the ex-showroom price of the Go variant to Rs 59,490 and the Plus variant to Rs 64,990. Hero claims that the VX2 has a running cost of Rs 0.96 per km, and buyers opting for the BaaS plan will have the option to swap their battery for a new one free of charge if its performance drops below 70%.

The VX2 Go is equipped with a 2.2 kWh battery pack, while the Plus features a larger 3.4 kWh unit. Hero claims an IDC range of 92 km for the Go variant and 142 km for the Plus. The VX2 comes with a 580W charger, which can fully charge the 2.2 kWh battery pack in 3 hours and 53 minutes. Charging the 3.4 kWh pack takes 5 hours and 39 minutes. Additionally, fast charging capability is available, allowing for a 0-80% charge in just 1 hour and a full charge in 2 hours for both battery packs.

The VX2 Go features a 4.3-inch LCD display, while the VX2 Plus has a 4.3-inch TFT screen. The Go variant offers 33.2 litres of under-seat storage, which reduces to 27.2 litres in the Plus due to the larger battery pack. While the company has not disclosed the power output of the VX2’s electric motors, it has stated that the Go variant has a top speed of 70 km/h, while the Plus can reach speeds of 80 km/h. The available colour options for both models include yellow, grey, red, white, blue, and black.
