Vida VX2 Electric Scooter Teased Ahead Of July Launch

Vida has released the first official teaser for its upcoming VX2 electric scooter. The teaser image reveals only part of the front of the VX2, keeping most details under wraps. The official launch of the e-scooter is scheduled for July 1. Hero has previously announced its plans to launch two affordable electric scooters in India through its EV arm, Vida. The VX2 is expected to be the first of these two upcoming products.

Official details about the VX2 are limited at this time. However, spy shots of the electric scooter indicate that its design will be similar to that of Vida’s existing V2 range. The VX2 will feature a colored TFT dashboard, but it will be smaller than the current V2 models. Both electric scooters are also likely to share similar switchgear.

As of now, battery specifications, range, charging capabilities, and electric motor details for the VX2 remain unknown. Hero may offer a smaller battery pack with a lower range compared to the V2 range. Prices for the Vida V2 start at Rs 74,000 and go up to Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect the VX2 to come with a lower price tag. Potential rivals will include OLA Gig range, Ampere Reo, Ola S1 Z, and Okinawa R30.
