Yamaha Fascino 125 Price Hiked by Rs 1,000

-TFT variant is the costliest at Rs. 96,200

-High input and logistics costs have led to the hike

The Yamaha Fascino is dearer by Rs. 1,000, ex-showroom. This price hike is applicable to the Yamaha Fascino S with the TFT display and the Fascino with the disc brake. With the new prices coming into effect, the top-spec Fascino S is priced at Rs. 96,200, while the disc brake variant will now cost Rs. 89,000. These prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Yamaha had to increase the price of the Fascino on account of increased costs of logistics as well as input material costs. In fact, a number of other Yamaha models have also received price hikes owing to the same reason.

The Yamaha Fascino is available in three variants. Powering the scooter is a 125cc, fuel-injected engine paired with Yamaha’s hybrid system. It uses a smart motor generator to provide smoother acceleration and improved fuel efficiency, along with a silent start and stop-start system.

The Fascino continues to offer features such as Bluetooth connectivity via the Yamaha Y-Connect app, a TFT cluster, and safety aids like a side-stand engine cut-off and a combined braking system. One of the scooter’s key strengths is its low kerb weight of around 99kg which makes it easy to ride in traffic. The low kerb weight also makes it non-intimidating for people to ride.

In terms of competition, the Yamaha Fascino goes up against the Hero Destini 125, Suzuki Access 125, and Vespa ZX 125.
