Yamaha FZ-X Prices Increased in India

  • Price hiked by upto Rs. 2,800
  • Bike remains unchanged visually and mechanically

Yamaha Motor India has been increasing the prices of its two-wheelers and the latest model to get this treatment is the FZ-X. The neo-retro bike has received a price hike of upto Rs. 2,800. The price hike isn’t substantial and shouldn’t have much bearing on purchase decisions.

The price of the standard model of the Yamaha FZ-X has been increased by Rs. 2,500, while the DLX variant is up by Rs. 2,800. The standard FZ-X is priced at Rs. 1.25 lakh, while the DLX version retails at Rs. 1.43 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Maharashtra.

The price revision is done to offset the increase in logistics and input costs. Apart from the revised pricing, the FZ-X remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor that makes 12.2bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm.

The Yamaha FZ-X is a hardy commuter based on the FZ platform. It appeals to buyers looking for an alternative to the FZ range, but with a modern-retro appeal.
