2025 Bentley Bentayga Speed Unveiled As Brand’s Fastest SUV Yet

Bentley has officially revealed the 2025 Bentayga Speed, its most powerful and quickest SUV to date. Powered by a new 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the high-performance SUV produces 650 hp and 850Nm of torque, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 100kph in just 3.6 seconds. The top speed is rated at an impressive 310 kph.

This marks a notable departure from the previous Bentayga Speed, which used a larger 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine. Despite downsizing the engine, Bentley has increased output by 15 hp and reduced kerb weight by 42 kg, now totalling 2,466 kg. The weight savings are credited primarily to the smaller power unit.

To further enhance dynamic capability, Bentley has introduced revised drive modes. A new Sport setting increases damper stiffness by 15 per cent and loosens the Electronic Stability Control for more aggressive driving and greater drift potential. Rear-wheel steering has also been added, improving low-speed manoeuvrability and high-speed composure.

Design-wise, the Bentayga Speed features subtle but noticeable updates. Exterior highlights include distinctive Speed badging and standard 22-inch alloy wheels, with 23-inch wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes offered as options. Inside, the cabin showcases a refreshed digital driver’s display, Speed-branded treadplates and dashboard inserts, along with special embroidery on the seats.
