JSW MG Motors India has launched the 2025 model year update for the Astor. The update introduces new features for select variants of the SUV. The mid-spec Shine will now be available with a panoramic sunroof and a six-speaker audio system. The Select variant adds six airbags and ivory-coloured leather seats. No other changes have been made to the vehicle.

For 2025, the MG Astor’s base Sprint trim will cost Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the top-of-the-range Savvy Pro will cost Rs 17.55 lakh (ex-showroom).

In India, the MG Astor has two engine options: a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 108 hp and 144 Nm of peak torque and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that cranks out 138 hp and 220 Nm of peak torque. The former is available with a 5-speed manual or a CVT, while the latter comes standard with a 6-speed torque converter.
