Chery Jetour T2 Gets 5-Star Safety Rating In ASEAN NCAP Crash Tests

The Jetour T2 which is developed by Chery’s Jetour brand, has received a five-star rating in ASEAN NCAP’s latest assessment. From the perspective of Indian buyers interested in global SUV safety ratings, it is important to understand the significance of such ratings and how they perform in crash tests. The Jetour T2 received an overall rating of 86.50 points indicating good performance in all safety categories. These tests are conducted to determine the performance and safety features offered by the vehicle such as crash protection, child safety features and other safety features that determine the safety of the occupants.

In Safety Assist rating, which includes technologies such as electronic stability control and various driver assist technologies, the vehicle scored 17.14 out of 20. In Motorcyclist Safety rating which includes technologies that help prevent collisions with motorcyclists, the vehicle scored 16.25 out of 20. These combined ratings gave the vehicle a rating of 86.5 points, which is in the highest rating category of ASEAN NCAP’s rating criteria for 2021-2025.
