2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Teased Before Launch

Royal Enfield has teased the updated Guerrilla 450 ahead of its official debut on 27 March. While the teaser doesn’t reveal much, sources suggest that the 2026 iteration will bring a mix of mechanical revisions and cosmetic updates.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 stood out as a fun-to-ride motorcycle, but it wasn’t without its flaws. In our experience, the stock tyres offered average grip levels, while the rear suspension felt on the firmer side, especially over broken surfaces. With the upcoming update, Royal Enfield is expected to address these shortcomings.

Right Front Three Quarter

The 2026 Guerrilla 450 is likely to benefit from grippier tyres and improved suspension damping, which should enhance its ride quality and overall handling. On the visual front, we can expect new colour options and refreshed graphics to give the motorcycle a more contemporary appeal.

We hope Royal Enfield takes this opportunity to expand its feature list by offering rider aids such as traction control and a quickshifter. These features have become increasingly popular in the sub-500cc segment and its high-time Royal Enfield should offer these features as standard. Whether or not these will be offered will only be confirmed at launch.

Mechanically, the new Guerrilla 450 is expected to remain unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the 452cc, liquid-cooled Sherpa engine producing 40bhp and 40Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Once launched, the updated Guerrilla 450 is expected to command a slight premium over the current model.
