Norton Manx R V4 Bike Design Patented In India

  • Design matches the version showcased at EICMA 2025
  • Likely to be launched by the end of 2026
  • Will be powered by a 1200cc V4 engine

The Norton Manx R’s design has been patented in India, indicating a future India launch. It will be the British bikemaker’s flagship offering. The Manx R is a supersport that was first unveiled at EICMA 2025, alongside the Manx street naked.

The Manx R features a sharp, race-inspired design, with the dual-LED headlight setup and sharp fairing. It will be powered by a 1200cc, liquid-cooled, V4 engine that will produce 203.2bhp at 11,500rpm and 130Nm of torque at 9,000rpm.

The supersport is built on an aluminium monocoque frame and features a single-sided swingarm. It is suspended on a semi-active Marzocchi suspension setup and rolls on carbon fibre wheels.

Features-wise, it will get an 8-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity. In addition to this, there are riding aids such as three riding modes, two customizable track modes, and a bidirectional quickshifter.

Norton has not yet confirmed launch timelines for India. However, recent spy shots of the Atlas suggest that the brand could prioritise its adventure lineup before introducing the Manx range. The adventure lineup is expected to be launched by Mid-2026, followed by the Manx R and the Manx.
