It’s a Superleggera! The Panigale V4 Superleggera Centenario bears the “Superleggera” name**,** and that is Italian for super lightweight. The bike uses carbon fibre extensively across the frame, swingarm, subframe, and even the wheels. The use of these lightweight materials results in a significant reduction in weight compared to conventional metal components and contributes to an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of 1,480hp/tonne.

A monstrous engine Ducati has plonked a reworked 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine in this bike. The power figures are quite mind-boggling, to say the least. In road-legal form, it makes 228bhp. However, switch it to track trim and couple it with a race exhaust, and the power figure jumps to 247bhp, making it one of the most powerful production bikes ever.
