Ngage Nexus Powerflow Exhaust for Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350: Review

Why an Aftermarket Exhaust?

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 Silencer/Muffler

Once you have installed a free-flow air filter and the Fuel X Pro Plus on your motorcycle, it is natural to see how it performs with a freer-flowing exhaust; it completes the loop of easy, upgradeable performance. We did that with the Himalayan 450 and the Triumph Scrambler 400X, and the difference in performance and sound with the addition of the freer-flowing exhaust was just too addictive. So, we thought we should get a feel for the Goan’s untapped performance by slipping on an aftermarket exhaust as well.

Enter the Ngage Nexus. Now, we have used exhausts from this company (though it was under a different name then) on the previous-generation 390 Adventure and the Interceptor, and on both counts, we found the performance and sound upgrades to be well worth the money. Furthermore, even though they sounded better, those exhausts weren’t excessively loud, so they didn’t attract much attention.

Will it be the same with the Nexus on the Goan? And should one really spend Rs 7,500 to get one? Time to find out.
