2026 Bajaj Avenger Street Launched in India at Rs. 1.30 Lakh

Bajaj Auto appears to have launched the 2026 Avenger Street 220 in India. The cruiser has been priced at Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), and the same has been listed on its official website.

Interestingly, the Street 220 is priced marginally above the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220, which is priced at Rs. 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Bajaj has also discontinued the Avenger Street 160 in India, and the Cruise 220 and Street 220 are the only Avenger models on sale in India.

Powering the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is the same 220cc, air/oil-cooled engine that powers the Avenger Cruise 220. The single-cylinder motor churns out 19bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 17.6Nm at 7,000rpm. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

The Avenger Street 220 features revised ergonomics with a lower handlebar for a more street-oriented, commanding riding posture. It also doesn’t get the pillion backrest, while it gets a small stubby visor in place of the tall windshield on the Cruise 220. The bike also features a blacked-out theme, and is offered in two colours – Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red.
