  • Rs. 33,000 more expensive than Ducati Red

Ducati has introduced a new colour scheme of the Panigale V2 S in India. Called the Ducati Yellow, it is priced at Rs. 21.86 lakh, ex-showroom, which makes it Rs. 33,000 more expensive than the Ducati Red trim, which was already available in the country.

The mechanical details of the bike remain unchanged. Powering the new Panigale V2 is an 890cc, liquid-cooled V-twin engine that makes 120bhp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm at 8,250rpm. While the peak power is much lower than the previous-generation Panigale V2’s engine, the new model is significantly lighter. The ‘S’ variant, in particular, is 17kg lighter. While the standard bike has a 43mm Marzocchi USD fork and a Kayaba monoshock, the S variant gets Ohlins suspension at the front and rear. Both variants ride on 17-inch wheels that are shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.

The Panigale V2 S is as technologically loaded as any other Ducati. There are multiple ride modes, traction control levels, wheelie control, engine brake control, and a bi-directional quickshifter. The bike also gets a new TFT display with three display modes- Road, Road Pro, and Race.
