TVS Orbiter get a Prices Hike of up to Rs. 11,000

TVS Motor Company has revised the prices of the Orbiter in India. Both variants of the electric scooter have become more expensive, with the entry-level Orbiter V1 receiving the highest increase of Rs. 11,000.

With the price revision, the TVS Orbiter V1 now costs Rs. 99,250, up from its earlier price of Rs. 88,250. Meanwhile, the higher-spec Orbiter V2 has become dearer by Rs. 9,000 and is now priced at Rs. 1.14 lakh, compared to its previous price of Rs. 1.05 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

TVS has not announced any mechanical or feature updates for the scooter, and the Orbiter continues to be positioned as TVS’ affordable electric scooter, aimed at urban commuters looking for a practical and feature-rich EV.

The TVS Orbiter is offered in two variants with different battery capacities. The V1 uses a 1.8kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed IDC range of 86km, while the V2 comes equipped with a larger 3.1kWh battery offering a claimed range of 158km. Both variants have a claimed top speed of 68kmph and feature Eco and City riding modes.
