Royal Enfield Hosts HunterHood in Kochi

Royal Enfield recently hosted the HunterHood street culture festival in Kochi on 8 August. The event is centred around music, art, skateboarding, urban sports and custom motorcycles. It was previously held in Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Shillong and Lucknow.

The event began with a community pre-jam on August 7 in collaboration with Loop Skatepark, bringing together local skaters and street culture communities. At the main event, the music lineup included Tribe Mama MaryKali, Ranj x Clifr, GABRI, MC Couper, Baby Jean and Dabzee. The community stage featured rapper Ameekha Liyana Ansar, DJ Dsco Patrol, We Are The Boom and Chenda Melam performances.

The event also featured skateboarding showcases by Fly Squad Skateboarding Community and Kovalam Skate Club. Visitors could take part in activities such as skimboarding, football, cricket, basketball and graffiti. The art section included live graffiti, visual art and interactive installations. Kerala-based collective Trespassers also completed a 10-day mural project inspired by Kochi’s streets and youth culture. Custom motorcycles from XLNC Customs, JD Customs, Garuda Machina, Kunwar Customs and Eimor Customs were also displayed.
