2026 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650: What is New?

2026 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650: What is New?

Royal Enfield has made several changes to the Continental GT 650 in India, as part of the 2026 update. The bike now gets some much-needed features and slight design tweaks to make it stand out. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what is new:

New Windscreen

All colour schemes in the 2026 Continental GT now feature a blacked-out windscreen. This addition has given the bike a much cleaner look from the front. That said, there will be many who prefer the earlier look with the exposed twin-pod instrument console.

USB Charging Port

The other major change that is applicable across all colours is the addition of a new USB Type-C charging port near the instrument console. The addition of this charging port should make it easier for riders to charge their mobile phones on the go.

It will be particularly useful for riders who are riding for long distances.

Updated Rocker Red

The Rocker Red colour scheme has also been updated with some major changes. It now features blacked-out engine components and exhaust pipes, giving it a more modern look compared to the previous chrome finish.

Royal Enfield has also made it more practical by adding alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, making it easier to fix punctures. Now the Rocker Red colour scheme has more in common with the Apex Grey colour scheme than the British Racing Green.

With these updates, the bike remains mechanically unchanged but is more expensive than before. For a detailed breakdown of the new prices, you can check out our launch story here.
