STUDDS Nardo Grey Helmets Available in a Limited Run Only

  • Nardo Grey treatment across seven STUDDS helmet models
  • 1,947 units will be produced in gloss and matt finishes
  • All versions are ISI-certified, while two models also carry DOT approval

STUDDS Nardo Grey limited-edition helmet range has been launched. Only 1,947 units will be produced across seven different helmet models, with that number referring to 1947, the year India gained independence. This limited-edition treatment will be available on seven models: Helios, Trooper, Ninja Elite Super, Drifter, Raider Super, Vogue and Ray Super.

The important part is that the limited-edition colour does not alter the basic safety construction of these models. Every Nardo Grey helmet complies with Indian ISI/BIS requirements, while STUDDS says two of the seven models additionally carry DOT certification.

These helmets use high-impact thermoplastic outer shells and regulated-density EPS liners across in their construction. They also get UV-resistant lacquer, hypoallergenic breathable padding and quick-release micrometric chin-strap buckles for ease.

The company links the grey treatment with the muted colours used by India’s armed forces and presents the Independence Day edition as a tribute to strength and restraint. Production number is 1,947 helmets in total, not 1,947 examples of each model. The units have already been dispatched to authorised dealers across India and should reach retail outlets shortly.
