Ather 450X Three New Colours Launched

• Gets three new colours
• New 900W charger has also been introduced
• Scooter remains mechanically unchanged

Ather has launched three new colours for the 450X in India at Rs. 1.57 lakh (ex-showroom). These new colours are part of what the brand calls the Overtone Series, and include: Still White, Space Grey, and Lunar Grey.

In addition, a new 900W charger has also been introduced as standard, replacing the 700W unit. According to the brand, the new charger should reduce charging times by 30 percent.

Speaking of the colours, the Still White features a white finish overall, with green and grey graphics. The Space Grey is a darker and more understated finish, with a dark grey colour scheme with red and grey graphics.

The Lunar Grey colour scheme gets a lighter grey shade, combined with dark grey and yellow graphics. Overall, compared to the single-tone colours, the Overtone series feels a lot more stylish and visually appealing.

Aside from the addition of the new colours, the electric scooter remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 6.4kW motor with a claimed top speed of 90kmph. It is available in two battery packs: a 2.9kWh option with a claimed range of 126km and a 3.5kWh version with a claimed range of 161km, both IDC.
