Smarter Electronics

The new Multi V4 Rally gets Ducati’s new Vehicle Observer (DVO) algorithm, which uses virtual sensor inputs to more accurately estimate the bike’s position and load, improving the performance of Cornering ABS and Wheelie Control. It also gains Forward Collision Warning, adding to the existing Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection. The Automatic Lowering Device has also improved, lowering the bike below 10kmph for easier footing and raising it automatically once speed increases.

Better Suspension and Brakes

The Multistrada V4 Rally continues to offer 200mm suspension travel at both ends, significantly more than the standard V4. However, the semi-active Marzocchi Skyhook Suspension EVO now features updated software for improved ride quality. The damping is better adapted based on road conditions and riding style, while suspension settings can now be adjusted independently of the selected riding mode. Braking has also been upgraded with a larger 280mm rear disc, while the Electronic Combined Braking System has been revised to operate in both directions, automatically applying the rear brake when only the front brake is used, and vice versa.

Other Updates

The Rally now features a 40mm wider and 20mm taller windscreen for better wind protection. Ducati has redesigned the pannier mounts to improve pillion legroom and updated the centre stand to make it easier to lift the motorcycle. Heated grips with five temperature settings are now standard.

What’s Unchanged

The Multistrada V4 Rally continues to run on the 1,158cc, V4, Granturismo engine producing 168bhp and 124Nm, paired with the same long service intervals of 15,000km (or 24 months) for oil changes and 60,000km for valve clearance checks. It also retains the large 30-litre fuel tank, 19-/17-inch tubeless spoked wheels, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and the overall touring-focused chassis setup.

Pricing and Colours

The 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is priced at Rs. 32.40 lakh (Ducati Red) and Rs. 32.73 lakh (Jade Green), ex-showroom India. That makes the updated version marginally more expensive than the outgoing model. The model continues to sit above the standard Multistrada V4 range as the more touring and adventure-focused variant.
