Avore EX1 and EX2 Range Launched Starting at Rs. 1.25 Lakh

  • Prices start at Rs. 1.25 lakh for the first 10,000 customers
  • EX2 is available in two variants, starting at 1.46 lakh

Avore has launched its electric motorcycle lineup in India, and it includes the EX1, the EX2 and the EX2S. The EX1 is the most affordable one out of the three, starting at an introductory price of Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), for the first 10,000 customers. The EX2 is priced at Rs. 1.46 lakh, and the EX2S is available at Rs. 1.70 lakh (both ex-showroom).

The EX1 features a 3.24kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 160km. It is mated to a 10.5kW motor, with a claimed 0-40kmph acceleration time of 3.2 seconds and a claimed top speed of 100kmph. It gets four riding modes: Eco, City, Sport and Reverse. It is offered with a 750w charger. Features-wise, it gets a 7-inch segmented LCD console.

The EX2, on the other hand, gets a larger 5kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 255km. The motor power remains the same as the EX1, at 10.5kW with a claimed top speed of 100kmph. It also features a 1500w on-board charger that takes 2 hours to charge from 20-80 percent.

The EX2S is the top-end variant, although it shares the same battery capacity as the EX2 the range is slightly higher, coming in at 260km (claimed). The 10.5kW motor, also offers a faster 0-40kmph acceleration time of 2.8 seconds (claimed) and a higher claimed top speed of 114kmph.

It gets a 7-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity and AI integration, for full-fledged navigation, geofencing, crash alerts and more. Electronic riding aids include: Hill hold assist, and a cruise control system. It also gets a manual gearbox that can be switched on or off, for a more conventional riding experience.
