Bajaj Pulsar 180 Launched in Four Colour Options

The Bajaj Pulsar 180 recently made a comeback in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs. 1.22 lakh, ex-showroom. It seems that high demand for the motorcycle in select regions encouraged Bajaj to bring the bike back to its portfolio. While it continues to feature the tried-and-tested 178.6cc engine with traditional hardware, there are four new colour options it is available in with a fresh set of decals.

The four paint schemes to choose from for the Pulsar 180 include Black Gold, Black Blue, Black Grey, and Black Red. All the colours look quite understated, with black being their base paint with subtle streaks of decals on the headlamp cowl, fuel tank, underbelly cowl, and tail section. It retains the same iconic bodywork from the Pulsar 150, which certainly has a separate fan base.

The Pulsar 180 is powered by a 178.61cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 16.77bhp at 8,500rpm and 15Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. Although we haven’t tested the latest model, this engine is known for its strong mid-range performance, making it ideal for both city commutes and highway runs. The feature list sees a more substantial update as it now comes equipped with LED turn indicators and a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with support for smartphone connectivity.

The Bajaj Pulsar 180 competes against the TVS Apache RTR 180, which is another old-school offering with such popularity that it has been alive for close to two decades now.
