Brezza, Ertiga, And Grand Vitara Push Maruti Suzuki’s Domestic Sales Up 4% In April 2025

‘s leading carmaker by sales, , saw a 4.08% year-over-year increase in domestic sales for April 2025. The Indo-Japanese automaker sold 151,880 units (including sales to other OEMs) in the domestic market in April 2025, compared to April 2024, when it sold 145,929 units. Utility vehicles from the brand, such as the , , Fronx, and , were among the top performers for the brand, registering an increase of 4.37% in sales with 59,022 units sold last month compared to 56,553 units sold in the same month last year.

Maruti Suzuki’s ‘bread and butter’ segment, the mini and compact, which includes models such as the Wagon R, Alto, and Celerio, saw a marginal 0.8% dip in April 2025, with 67,923 units sold compared to 68,472 units in April 2024. Sales of the Ciaz, Maruti’s executive sedan, declined sharply by 62.97% in April 2025, with 321 units sold compared to 867 units in the same month last year.
