Model launch date:

The new BMW X7 was launched in India on 17 January.

Variants:

The updated X7 SUV is available in two variants, xDrive 40i M Sport and xDrive 40d M Sport.

Feature list:

Exterior highlights of the 2023 X7 include a new front bumper, a larger kidney grille, split LED headlamps, new 21-inch alloy wheels, a reworked rear bumper, and sleeker LED tail lights. Customers can choose from four colours, including Mineral White, Dravit Grey, Tanzanite Blue, and Carbon Black.

Inside, the model comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, HUD, ADAS, BMW digital key, a 1,475W Bowers & Wilkins-sourced music system, rear-wheel steering, five-zone climate control system, and heated and cooled seats as well as cup holders. Also on offer is a single-piece curved display unit housing the 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument console.

Engine, performance and specifications:

Powering the updated X7 will be the 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, petrol and diesel engines with 48V mild-hybrid systems. The petrol motor produces 381bhp and 520Nm of torque, while the diesel mill develops 340bhp and 700Nm of torque, with the hybrid system developing an additional 12bhp and 200Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic unit is standard across the range.
