Citroen C3 Now Available With Retrofitted CNG Kit

To make the C3 hatchback more appealing, Citroen introduced it with a retrofitted CNG kit. This kit has been approved by the automaker and will only be installed at its authorised dealership by certified technicians from Lovato. But Citroen isn’t just installing the CNG kit but also providing several other enhancements and schemes to improve the after-sales experience.

Citroen Is Offering Warranty Cover For C3’s CNG Kit

In addition to the 3-year / 100,000 km warranty on the car, Citroen is also offering a 3-year / 100,000 km warranty on the CNG kit. The kit will be available across all variants of the C3: Live, Feel, Feel(O) and Shine. Citroen has placed the CNG tank so that it does not eat into the boot space, while ensuring the spare wheel remains accessible. The CNG nozzle has been integrated into the petrol filler port for further ease of use.

C3’s Suspension Has Been Reworked To Deal With Additional Weight

Citroen has also tweaked the rear suspension to deal with the additional weight. Updates come in the form of reinforced suspension springs and an anti-roll bar. Citroen promises a mileage of 28.1 km/kg for the C3, when running on CNG, with a running cost of Rs 2.66 per/km. The retrofit CNG kit is available at an additional price of Rs 93,000 over the ex-showroom price of each variant.
