Ferrari Amalfi Revealed: Is This The Prettiest Grand Tourer Yet?

Ferrari has a new grand tourer on the block: meet the Amalfi, a stylish 2+2 coupe that picks up where the Roma left off but with sharper looks and serious muscle under the hood. Unveiled in a colour called Verde Costiera, inspired by the blue-green waters of Italy’s Amalfi coast, this front-engined beauty sticks to Ferrari’s recipe for elegance: long bonnet, a wide rear end, and a bit of retro-futuristic flair.

Up front, the traditional grille is gone. Instead, there’s a sleek body-coloured wing and a recessed dark band hiding all the sensors and headlights, a nod to the shark-nose styling seen on the SF90. Size-wise, the Amalfi is 4,660 mm long and nearly two metres wide, sitting low and wide on a 2,670 mm wheelbase. It’s unmistakably a Ferrari, but the real drama sits under that sculpted bonnet. A 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 pumps out 631 BHP and 760 Nm of torque. With its 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the Amalfi rockets from 0-100 kph in 3.3 seconds and can stretch its legs all the way to 320 kph.

Inside, Ferrari has finally done away with those fiddly haptic buttons. Drivers get real physical controls on the steering wheel again, plus a massive 15.6-inch digital cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen for infotainment. There’s wireless phone charging, smartphone integration, and, if you want to crank up the drama, an optional Burmester sound system with 14 speakers and 1,200 watts of power.

It’s not all power and plush interiors either; safety tech like adaptive cruise control and lane assist make it easier to live with day to day. The Amalfi might be Ferrari’s newest coupe, but it sticks to the old promise: fast, beautiful, and just a bit indulgent.
