Harley-Davidson X440 T Long-term Review: Introduction

Why the X440 T?

Three years back, we rode the Harley-Davidson X440 and came back impressed with its performance and handling. But the bike fell short in certain departments such as the styling around the rear area and overall quality levels.

Harley tried fixing these issues with the X440 T. It gets a redesigned tail section, better routing for the wires, and the overall build quality looks pleasing to the eye. That the overall styling is inspired by the now-discontinued Harley-Davidson XR1200 is an added bonus.

But a few questions still linger in our heads. Will the bike continue to feel enjoyable on an everyday basis? Will the soft front suspension give up on Mumbai’s pothole-infested and horribly-patched roads? Can it be a comfortable touring machine for a 1,000km road trip?

Time to find answers as we put in the kilometres on our long-term X440 T.
