Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Comes Back to India!

  • Priced at Rs. 33.50 lakh (ex-showroom)
  • Rs. 4.51 lakh more expensive now
  • Specifications remain unchanged

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has reintroduced the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP as part of its updated BigWing portfolio. The motorcycle had briefly come back to India in September 2025 before being removed from Honda’s website a few months later. It is now back on sale at a price of Rs 33.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

While the specifications remain the same, the price has gone up significantly. The Fireblade SP now costs Rs 4.51 lakh more than its previous asking price of Rs 28.99 lakh. It rivals other litre-class superbikes such as the BMW S 1000 RR, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, and Ducati Panigale V4 S.

The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP continues to be powered by a 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine that produces 217.5bhp at 14,000rpm and 113Nm at 12,000rpm. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox and comes with a bi-directional quickshifter and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust as standard.

The motorcycle is built around an aluminium twin-spar frame and features premium cycle parts derived from Honda’s MotoGP machine. The SP trim gets electronically adjustable Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 suspension and Brembo Stylema R brake calipers. Its electronics package includes a six-axis IMU, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, launch control, and multiple riding aids that can be adjusted through a five-inch TFT display.
